ABOUT ash

Ash is, above all else, a creative. Their passion for the arts began at a young age - their first career was in theatre.

 

Their shift towards digital arts began in high school journalism class, where they discovered a love for photography and design. In college, they spent most of their time taking photos and writing articles for The Tulane Hullabaloo.

After college, Ash served as the Digital Media Coordinator at the Louisiana SPCA, where they adopted their number one love in life, a French Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix named Pippin. They spent a short time working in the trade show industry before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the industry and the world.

​

Ash is currently the Marketing Manager at Happy Raptor Distilling in New Orleans, LA, where they started work as a bartender and tour guide as the city of New Orleans began lifting COVID-19 restrictions in the fall of 2020.

​

Outside of their day job, Ash freelances as a photographer and designer. They most enjoy portraiture, both of humans and animals. On the weekends, you can most often find Ash at the zoo with their camera, photographing animals. 

​

Ash's main interests outside of photography and design include rock climbing, board games, costuming, cocktail mixology, playing D&D, women's soccer, and dogs.

​

After calling New Orleans home for nearly 10 years, Ash is ready for their next adventure out West! Ash is relocating to southern California in summer 2022 with their girlfriend, their beloved dog Pippin, and a collection of 50+ houseplants. Though leaving the swampy atmosphere of the Big Easy is difficult, they're excited to be heading somewhere with oceans, mountains, and plenty of rock climbing opportunities.
